DescriptionThe Steering Committee for the Northern Ontario School of Architecture (NOSOA) was convened early in 2007. The Committee, comprised of a number of highly respected community members with unique skills, outlined a 3-phase process which when completed, will result in founding the first Canadian School of Architecture in almost 40 years.  
The school proposed by the Committee will have three benefits: it will have a revitalizing effect on Sudbury's downtown core; it will contribute to diversifying the northern economy, and finally, it will improve the quality of life in Northern Ontario. The school will generally encourage a better understanding of the far-reaching benefits of good design.
