| Description | This Hub is located at St. Charles Elementary School in Chelmsford, and run by Child and Community Resources. No fees are charged for any programming. A Best Start Hub is a one-stop centre connecting families to a wide range of services and resources. Best Start Hubs support home, child care and schools by supporting families with parenting programs and activities in a rich learning environment. Please refer to the monthly calendar or contact the hub for scheduling. Playgroup This program offers a variety of parent-child activities lead by hub staff. Activities may include puppet making, book making, cooking, science, math, parent discussions, outings, private developmental screenings upon requests. Family Fun Night This once per month fun night offers a free pizza dinner followed by crafts, gym time for the whole family. Family Breakfast A free breakfast, which includes a fun filled morning of playing and activities for the whole family. Once per month. Preschool Early Learning Program This program is for children entering JK in the Fall and runs for 8 weeks, two morning per week. Registration is required. Community Connections The Best Start Hub Consultant provides activities and information at a variety of destinations to promote Best Start Hubs. | |||
